Thursday 12 December 2024 marks a decisive step for Gabon on the international stage. At the end of the Ordinary General Meeting of the International Network of French-speaking Investment Promotion Agencies (RIAFPI), which has been taking place in Libreville since this morning, Ghislain Moandza Mboma was elected President.
The 22 member countries have chosen to place their trust in Gabon's expertise for the next two years. This strategic choice reflects Gabon's growing role in the economic attractiveness of the French-speaking world. Moandza Mboma, former 1st vice-president of RIAFPI, succeeds Anthony Nkinzo Kamole, with the task of consolidating the membership of member countries and extending the network's reach.
For Gabon, this presidency is an opportunity to promote its investment facilitation model and strengthen its economic leadership. This is a responsibility that the new President intends to honour by injecting an inclusive and ambitious dynamic.
