Libreville, Tuesday 11 March 2025 - The President of the Republic, H.E. Brice Clotaire OLIGUI NGUEMA, visited the Baie des Rois construction site accompanied by the Prime Minister, Mr Raymond NDONG SIMA, and members of the Government, including the Minister for the Economy and Participations, Mr Mark DOUMBA. Also taking part in the visit were the Managing Director of ANPI-Gabon, Mr Ghislain MOANDZA MBOMA, the ADG of FGIS, Mr Serge Brice NGODJOU, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of FGIS. Serge Brice Ngodjou and FMCT CEO Emmanuel Edane.
The Baie des Rois development project, for which ANPI-Gabon is the administrative authority, is supported by the Fonds Gabonais d'Investissements Stratégiques (FGIS) and developed by its subsidiary Façade Maritime du Champ Triomphal (FMCT).
Through La Baie des Rois, the highest authorities are deploying an investment approach aligned with economic diversification and the development of sustainable infrastructures. This 40-hectare seafront project is the embodiment of this ambition, with ten worksites underway incorporating offices, housing, shops and hotels.
Alongside the site, the Head of State also visited Tour H, an emblematic 50-storey building that will reshape the urban landscape and enhance the capital's appeal, and praised the commitment of the 1,200 workers mobilised on this major project.
Satisfied with the progress of the works, the President of the Republic emphasised the socio-economic impact of this project, which will eventually generate more than 20,000 direct and indirect jobs.
