Monday, October 24, 2022, the National Agency for the Promotion of Investments (ANPI-Gabon), welcomed the mission of the Japanese Association for the Economic Development of Africa (AFRECO), which was making an official visit to Gabon from 23 to October 30, 2022, to open a high-level dialogue to promote foreign direct investment (FDI) in Gabon.
Indeed, this visit is part of a mission aimed at seizing business opportunities in priority sectors, creating a framework for B2B exchanges between AFRECO members and the Gabonese private sector, creating a collaborative framework between the Gabonese State and AFRECO through ANPI-Gabon and set up a business council between the FEG and AFRECO.
It is in this perspective that an Invest Session was held to discuss investment policies and present structuring projects in key sectors such as digital, agro-industry and renewable energies. .
The Invest session ended with the signing of a MOU between AFRECO, represented by its President Mr. Tetsuro YANO and ANPI-Gabon, represented by its Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Aimé Popa NZUTSI MOUYAMA.
As a reminder, Gabon and Japan maintain excellent relations of cooperation, materialized by multifaceted and multisectoral achievements.
