On 13 and 15 February 2024, the High Council on Investment (HCI) organised a Specialised Unit on parafiscality relating to the scale for determining the taxable value of imports of raw CEMAC products.
The first day was devoted to taking stock of the situation, with the participation of the Directorate General of Taxes, the Directorate of Customs and Indirect Duties, as well as Mrs BECKA Pierrette, President of the Traders' Cooperative of PK8, who represented the economic operators.
Ultimately, the aim is to facilitate a public-private dialogue with a view to simplifying and reducing procedural timeframes, to the benefit of economic operators, and to promote the traceability of the resources collected with a view to lightening the household basket.
